Control Local Data Storage
- To control whether a copy of the cloud file is stored on the local hard drive.
- Open File Explorer and navigate to Nextcloud folder
- Right click on the file to store/not store
Choose "Nextcloud" option and select one of see SetLocalCopyofCloudStorage.png
- "Make always available locally"
- "Free up local space.
To view if file/directory is stored, or in cloud, or in being synced, note the icon on Windows File Explorer LocalCopyStatusofCloudStorage.png
Note there are also options during NextCloud Client Storage.
- Windows has a feature to enable/disable local storage automatically (Not tested yet)
