- If you are connecting through our Uncapped ADSL services then you should use smtp-is.zsd.co.za.
Other commonly used SMTP servers used in South Africa, but not supported by ZSD are:
- Axxess: Fixed LTE and ADSL services, smtp.internet.co.za
- Cell C: smtp.cmobile.co.za
- Vodacom: smtp.vodacom.co.za, smtp.vodamail.co.za
- MTN: mail.mtn.co.za
- iBurst: smtp.iburst.co.za, smtp.iburstsouthafrica.co.za (recommended). Avoid smtp.wbs.co.za as it is appears that it is no longer supported.
Fixed devices can also be configured to use "authenticated smtp" as above, but this might be slightly slower than a local smtp relay server.
